How long are appointments?
Initial appointments are 1hr. Review appointments vary depending on complexity (ranging from 30min - 1hr).

Can I claim with private health insurance?
This depends on your level of private health cover. Isabella Boccalatte the Dietitian at Core Dietetics is recognised by private health funds. Please contact your health fund to confirm if you have cover for dietetics.

Can I bring a support person and/or my baby & children to an appointment?
Yes! You are always welcome to bring support people and any babies or children. Please note that children always remain the responsibility of their parent/s and or guardian/s during your visit.

Are my records kept private and confidential?
Accredited Practising Dietitains are registered practitioners with Dietitians Australia and are subject to the privacy principles of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Please refer to our privacy policy tab for more details.

What happens if I am late to an appointment or I miss it?
Core Dietetics realises that life happens. We would appreciate a phone call if you are running late. Please note that we cannot extend your appointment if you are late. If you miss an appointment, we will put into place our cancellation policy where you pay 50% of the appointment (which goes towards the cost of your next appointment).
